You've been in the dark for a while. Maybe you know it. Maybe you're only just starting to feel the walls around you. Either way, you weren't alone down there, even when it felt like it.
The cicada spends years underground. Blind. Still. Forming in silence while the world above moves on without it. Then something shifts, and it breaks through, not quietly, not apologetically, into a world that's been waiting for its song. Into a community that recognizes the sound, because they've been underground too.
That's what Cicada & Salt is. Not a trend. Not a performance. Not another sanitized wellness aesthetic asking you to buy your way into peace. This is a real space for real people living real lives, especially those of us who've had to fight to become who we are.
If you've been told you're too much, too strange, too late, too broken, too far behind, you belong here. Whoever you are, however you got here, whatever you've had to survive to arrive, this is a space where you are safe to be seen. Just bring an open mind. The collective, this community of people healing, growing, and becoming together, will help guide you the rest of the way.
